Define Beauty

Hi there!
I'll post reviews of beautyproducts, tutorials, tips, DIY's and everything related to beauty.

Of course beauty isn't makeup, fashion or the way you look. Beauty is your inside, and I believe everyone is beautiful in their own way.
But you know what I mean when I say beauty (:

If you want me to write about a certain product, or thing, or if you want me to explain things, etc. You can always submit it or ask me (:

Chocolate Mask (DIY!)

Chocolate is a delicious thing to eat, and we all know how many great recipes you can make with it, but did you also know that cacao is very hydrating and it contains loads of antioxidants. Honey treats acne and tightens your skin. Yoghurt fades scars and reduces redness it also cleans your pores deeply and makes them less visible. So why not mix them, and use them to make your skin sparkle as never before!

What do you need?

-Cacao powder/butter.
-(Organic) honey.
-Natural yogurt.

Mix one dessert spoon cacao powder with one dessertspoon of organic honey. Mix it well and then add a dessert spoon of yoghurt. Mix it untill it’s a smooth substance. When you finished the mask, I recommend you to put it in the fridge for a couple of minutes. Then you can just apply it on your face and/or body. Leave it on for 15/30 minutes and then remove it with medium warm water.

Why do we get Acne?

Your skin is divided into several zones. Each of these zones is ‘connected’ to an organ

Forehead.

The forehead has to do with digestion, so with the intake of food, vitamins, minerals etc. If you have a lot of acne over there, I would suggest you to drink more water, eat more fruits and vegetables, and avoid hats that do not let your skin breathe. Some things that really support your digestion are lemon water and green tea, that last one also speeds up your metabolism which makes it easier to burn calories.

Between your eyebrows.

The area between your eyebrows is ”connected” with the liver, and you’ve more chance to develop acne when you eat rich foods like cheese or if you drink a lot of alcohol - which is also bad for the rest of your skin, you’ll get wrinkly much sooner -. If you eat late at night, you have more chance to have acne there too.

Cheeks.

The cheeks are related to your lungs, so if you have skin problems on your cheeks, you should probably quit smoking ( if you do smoke of course xd). Pollution of the air and astma are also factors to acne on your cheeks.

Ears.

Acne around your ears is mostly caused by dehydration or when you use too much salt in your food. Too much cafeine is bad for your skin too.

Chin.

When you have acne on your chin this is probably because of stress, or because of your period. As we all know, around your period your skin will develop more acne and dry spots. Acne on your chin is most common when you’re on your period, this is of course really annoying, but there’s not much you can do to prevent it. You can make them dissapear just like you do with ‘normal’ acne, but it’s hard to prevent. The best tip I can give you is to just eat, drink and live healthy.

Hey Guys!

I haven’t posted anything at all for the last few days, I’m really sorry! I was so busy, but I’ve got loads of ideas, tips, etc etc to share with you <3 So enjoy!

Clean your hairbrush!

Remind yourself to clean your hairbrush regularly. When you brush your hair, tallow and other shit will remain in the brush and the next time you bursh your hair it’ll come in you hair.

How to clean it? Just simply put the brush in a bucket with water and soap and leave it there for a couple of hours. The dirt will flow out of the brush, but be sure to rinse it under the tap with cold fresh water when you take the brush out of the bucket (:

Sharpening your eyepencil.

Before sharpening your eye pencil, put in in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes. The sharpening wil go much smoother and easier (:

Temporary Lip Tattoos.
You probably already know lip art? For those who don’t: It’s like nail art, but on your lips. So like ”drawing” figures and patterns on your lips. To make it easier to apply there’s something new out: Temporary Lip Tattoos.
It’s like temporary tattoos for children, but for your lips. It’s really easy to apply and it stays perfectly in place for a long time.
How to apply? I could write a whole story about how to apply, but the bets way to learn it, is to see it.
